Scott and Julie Grundahl served in the United States Air Force for a combined 47 years. They met at the United States Air Force Academy in 1993, married in 1995, went to Undergraduate Pilot Training a few weeks later, then enjoyed the next 20+ years as an Air Force Family. Among many assignments, they had the opportunity to teach and train brand new pilots for the Air Force in the T-37B twin jet. From there, they knew they had a passion for teaching people to fly and hoped to own and operate a flight school after military retirement. That dream came true in the summer of 2020 when they took the reins of Mt Pleasant Flight Training. They do this because they love flying and want to pass their love of flight and aviation to others. You can rest assured that if you choose Mt Pleasant Flight Training for your training and rental needs, you are choosing a program led by people who have decades of rigorous experience in flight training operations.
